About Elise Marie DeSigns
My name is a Elise DeSalvo. I am a maker and a mama. I have always been a creative person and just find so much happiness in making and designing all the things. Jewelry has always been by my passion even since childhood. You could find me at all times as a young child with gimp, hemp, embroidery thread, beads, shells, rope, you name it.
Growing up in Rhode Island I went on to get a degree from URI in Textiles, Merchandising and Design and a few months after graduation I relocated to Portland, Maine. I started my jewelry business Elise Marie DeSigns at 22 as a side gig that eventually took on a whole life of its own and now is my full time career. On top of jewelry I have recently added in some home decor items and a hand dyed clothing line which have both been really fun and exciting new outlets!
I’ve done hundreds of craft shows, street vending events, pop ups and even had a brick and mortar, but now I am entering new phase of business with a brand new studio (she shed!!) on my property where I will continue to expand my creative journey. Enjoy!
