About Giftedness
Giftedness specializes in vegan organic skin and hair care. It began as a labor of love.
In 2006, when founder Tamela Nelson birthed a child who was born with Eczema. The lack of accessible and affordable organic skin care, inspired her to take matters into her own hands. She began researching and experimenting until she created products that improved the quality of her child's skin.
In 2015 a serious injury forced Tamela to focus on self care. She took courses on essential oils, natural remedies, and yoga. She submerged herself into the creative process, focusing on the mind and body connection. Her mission was to formulate products that inspired joy. Initially creating the products for self use, she loved how they made her feel and wanted to share that feeling with others.
She partnered with her childhood friend Kimea Clemmons, in the spring of 2017, Giftedness was launched. Giftedness continues to be a labor of love, providing luxury organic products at affordable costs.
