About Palmer Street Press
Hello! I’m Gillian. (Soft G, like...giraffe?) I’m a full-time designer and communications consultant that has been living the freelancing life in Grand Rapids, Michigan, since completing my Master’s degree in Professional Communications more than 5 years ago! I help businesses, charities, schools and creative individuals with everything from website design to large scale branding and marketing campaigns.
I started Palmer Street Press in 2014 to keep my creative muscles in shape and as an outlet to make stuff with completely my own design aesthetic. Creating a small business and carefully cultivating its growth is the most thrilling/terrifying/exhausting/rewarding experience of my life. And I feel very fortunate to wake up every day excited to get to work.
All Palmer Street Press products are designed right here in my home studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Cards are printed, and then are carefully folded and assembled in house. Each and every card we sell has been carefully inspected by hand to ensure it's in tip-top shape when it reaches you.
