Has anyone used Lumi for product packaging? Thoughts?

I've not, but they look to be a high-priced middleman. There are lots and lots of local converters than can typically do anything you need for packaging, and many can work with surprisingly small volumes.

I suppose if you value their platform, go ahead. I just don't see the advantage vs. going direct to the producers.

The packaging I ended up getting is not what I need. It was far from easy to find a designer with real skills and knew what he was doing. But for that, he wasnt cheap. He was in deep South America somewhere and the company that printed the 1000 at .14 each was in China. Given this cost and quantity, do you or anyone know of an affordable packaging company that handles all steps inhouse including design fixes. And they dont necessarily need a full on design dept, but just understand it and have an eye for and ability to clean up or improve any obvious ineffective or non ideal aspects they may notice prior to printing, and being either in the US or China would be fine.. as long as the cost per package if from China is priced reasonably lower to make up for the couple to few hundred that will have to go to a shipping?

What kind of packaging are you looking at? I used to be in that field and could steer you in the right direction.

I've never heard of them.
